Deez Slopes 🐿️🏂 Colorado — The Trip That Almost Didn't Happen What started as a group chat with 47 unanswered messages and one guy who "still needed to check his calendar" somehow turned into the most legendary snowboarding trip nine men had no business taking. From the moment we landed in Colorado, it was clear this crew was built differently. And by different, we mean completely unprepared. Day 1 saw three guys rent boots a full size too small, one guy forget his gloves at the cabin, and one brave soul confidently take a black diamond on his second run of the day. He did not finish the black diamond. Day 2 brought fresh powder, fresh confidence, and a fresh set of injuries nobody wanted to admit to. The mountain humbled us. We humbled ourselves harder. By Day 3, we had developed a system — half the group shredded the mountain like they were born on a board, while the other half discovered a deep personal relationship with the lodge bar and called it "base camp." Day 4 was simply not discussed. What happens on Day 4 stays on Day 4. The final day we came together as one. 10 men reduced to seven. Three mountains. A collective refusal to go home. Someone cried.
