In this video I cover the radio's and features that I recommend for "Squad style" body worn, tactical HT's. In my original quest for radio comms, I wanted to achieve a simple goal, let me talk to the person 50yds away from me without yelling, seamlessly. Since then I have discovered a lot of radios and gained a tremendous amount of knowledge on the subject. Although not an expert, I want to give my recommendation for choosing a "squad style" radio. I refer to it as this because, this radio should be streamlined across everyone in your squad. Similar radio's, with similar setups and features. I also cover some of the newer, cutting edge radio features and integrations that can be made available with newer technology. I do not nearly cover these topics to their full extent, but wanted to touch on the concept and capability for those that may not now.
