On February 14, 2026, the heart of Haymarket transformed into a vibrant celebration for the Fascinating Thaitown Lunar New Year. From the rhythmic Long Drum Procession starting at George Street to the high-energy Muay Thai boxing matches on Campbell Street, the energy was absolutely electric. In this video, we explore: The Thaitown Community Market: The legendary market returned to Meriton Lane with unique Thai treasures and authentic street food. Live Performances: Traditional Thai dance, an Esarn dance party, and the iconic Ladyboy Cabaret. Art & Culture: The brand-new Fire Horse installation and the festive lanterns lighting up the laneways. A Huge Thank You To: The Artists & Performers: For sharing the beauty of Thai heritage through dance, music, and art. The Food Vendors: For keeping us fueled with the best flavours in Sydney (shoutout to the Capital Thai Beer Garden!). The Community: Everyone who came out to celebrate—you made this day unforgettable! 👇 LET’S CONNECT! What was your favourite part of the festival?
