The 56th Annual CFU Junior Cultural Federation Tamburitza Festival and the 37th Annual CFU Adult Tamburitza Festival was held in Zagreb, Croatia this year. The festival took place at Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall. The theme of the festival was "Tambura across Generations". 41 Folklore and Tamburitza ensembles from across the United States and Canada traveled to Zagreb to participate in the first combined Croatian Cultural Festival. I decided to tag along with the Jasinas for my first trip to Croatia. I got a chance to get to know many of the participants, sightsee in the city, watch a practice, and see several performances.
