These cuts relate to the children's matinee and the filming in Kent. Nice C/U shots of children's faces. Exterior of cinema with lots of children queuing to get in. Nice shots of children looking excited about going to the cinema. C/Us of children include boy scouts and a young Asian girl. Pans down to show that she is wearing an ABC Minors badge. Signs outside the cinema include a poster advertising Bernard Bresslaw and a notice announcing a special Children's Film Foundation screening. Good shots of the audience of children, cinema manager outside cinema and Mrs Tate and her performing dogs. Some shots of Australian life saving competition - this may be from a Children's Film Foundation Film. C/Us of excited children and adults watching the surf boats racing. Glamour girls sit on a beach applying sun tan lotion (it looks freezing!). One of the girls walks into the sea with a lilo. Various shots of the cameraman, man speaking through a megaphone and girl on the lilo and in the water. These are cuts from CP 439 - Helicopter Rescue. Some shots of Bernard Bresslaw and sidekick on stage at children's film show. Cast and crew of the Children's Foundation Film are seen at work and relaxing. Girl seen earlier on the lilo is lifted into a helicopter - perhaps she floated out to sea? Various shots of the lilo girl pretending to be in trouble with her lilo. She overacts a bit!
