20m Half Wave Vertical On The Welsh Coast

I've always wanted to try a 20m half wave vertical on the coast. On my previous trip to this campsite I used a quarter wave vertical for 40m with awesome results, so this time I returned with a half wave vertical for 20m. My theory was that the lower radiation angle of a half wave compared to a quarter wave would get me "across the pond" into the USA........it didn't quite turn out as I expected! The Amateur Radio UK channel is run by UK radio amateur M0GQC (James). As the channel name would suggest, the channel focuses primarily on amateur radio within the UK!!!
