A case involving a Russian soldier accidentally killing a fellow serviceman has surfaced. Ukraine’s military intelligence agency, HUR, has shared what it claims is a captured phone conversation in which a Russian soldier admits he accidentally killed one of his own comrades after mistaking him for a Ukrainian. The recording is presented as evidence of confusion, fear, and poor coordination among Russian troops on the battlefield. In the audio clip, released via Telegram app, a man recounts how he shot someone who approached his position without warning, only realizing afterward that the person was a fellow Russian soldier. He explains that the individual didn’t identify himself or speak, and instead quietly moved toward him, prompting the fatal reaction. “A guest came to me just now, I had to take him out – turned out it was one of ours,” the man said in Russian. During the exchange, another voice over the radio tries to clarify the situation, asking for identifying details such as the person’s callsign and unit. The shooter reiterates that the individual said nothing and appeared suddenly, leaving him no time to verify who it was. A third voice suggests the soldier may have been relocating independently and unintentionally entered the wrong position. According to Ukraine’s intelligence agency, the incident illustrates deeper issues within Russian ranks, where weak communication, lack of coordination, and heightened anxiety can cause soldiers to perceive even their own side as a threat - especially in low-visibility conditions. The agency argues that such incidents are symptomatic of broader disarray, with troops operating under stress and uncertainty, increasing the risk of deadly mistakes. Separately, past reporting has highlighted similar concerns. In 2023, a woman described as a professional interceptor of Russian communications told the Kyiv Post that while many of the conversations she hears sound extreme or unbelievable, they are genuine. Speaking under a pseudonym, she said that even she is sometimes shocked by the content, but insists the recordings reflect real conditions. Erratic or desperate behavior among Russian forces has been illustrated in a number of intercepted communications, including bizarre or alarming accounts emerging from the front lines. http://youtube.com/kanal13az/join - click here and support Kanal13 monthly for distributing more videos and independent journalism http://t.me/kanal13tv & https://bit.ly/37BVMqU https://www.youtube.com/user/kanal13a... https://bit.ly/2Rs6MB3 #lastminutenewsfromukraine #kanal13ukraine https://bit.ly/2V19Fdy Click here and just subscribe to Kanal13 - https://www.youtube.com/user/kanal13a... https://www.youtube.com/KANAL13AZ/join *ATTENTION: If you woul like to contact with US please, write to +49176 75077516 WhatsApp ▌▌►Website: http://kanal13.tv/ / tvkanal13 / kanal13az / kanal13.az Click & Subscribe to the main youtube Channel © KANAL13 [ Azərbaycanın ilk peşəkar internet televiziyası ] The First Internet TV of Azerbaijan Tags: #Ukriane, #Russia, #Putin, #Putler, #Russian invasion of Ukraine, #Zelenski, #Kiev, #Kyiv, #Kadirov army, #Kadirov, #Kherson, #Bucha, #Kharkiv, #Ukrainian pilots, #vagners, #Russian tanks, #NATO, #drones, #Moscow, #Kreml, #war victims #Ukraina, News, The Washington Post, waPo Video, Washington Post Video, Washington Post YouTube, a:politics, aid, biden, putin, s:Politics, support, t:Other, Ukraine, war, fact check, news coverage, Donald Trump, news, wp video, forbes, nytimes, newspaper, media, journalism, Ilham Aliyev, Baku, Azerbaijan, Israel, Gaza, Palestine, Tel-Aviv, Garabag, Karabakh, football, ronaldo, messi, brian tyler cohen
