O-KAY, this game had some good music so I thought I might as well do one more! 🎶 I love how Nintendo is fully embracing the use of metal music in their games made for children. Makes a child at heart like me happy. This song goes absolutely crazy! What's really interesting is that they used K. Rool's music motif from DK64 and made it faster to create the main riff. That wasn't the only theme that was referenced in it though. You can clearly hear "Aquatic Ambiance" in a later section while "Jump Up, Super Star" gets hinted by french horns at the same time. I also added references of my own throughout this cover for you to listen closely and try to spot them! "K. Rool Duel" from DK64 is in there a few times during the second half as well as many little nods to the DKC series. I hope you'll enjoy the video!
