The entry-level creative jobs are already disappearing—advertising, animation, commercial art—and those were pathways for people to make a living being creative. I'm not saying don't use AI image generators if that's your thing. But consider: does prompting an AI feel the same as making something yourself? For me, it felt like using a cheat code in a video game—briefly exciting, then hollow. My take: use AI to handle the inhuman work, the productivity stuff, the BS that eats up your day.
