Sasha DiGiulian is one of the most recognizable female climbers in the world, constantly pushing the boundaries of what is possible. She began her climbing career at six, and has since achieved Female Overall World Champion, undefeated Pan-American Champion for a span of a decade, and multi-time US National Champion. She was the first North American woman and third woman in the world to climb a grade 5.14d, (9a), and has traveled to over 50 countries accomplishing 30+ First and First Female Ascents, including over 50 5.14 ascents. She’s the recipient of the Golden Piton Award, Arco Rock Legend Award, and the American Alpine Club Robert Hicks Bates Award and in 2024, Sasha released the HBO documentary Here to Climb, which documents her climbing career pushing boundaries and redefining success on her own terms. Sasha believes in the transformative power of sports on youth and female development. As a woman in a traditionally male-dominated space, she stands for equality in sport, access, pay, and treatment of female athletes. Sasha’s accomplishments, positive attitude, and poise helped bring rock climbing to the mainstream and solidify it as a true sport for women and men alike. She is the author of Take the Lead: Hanging on, Letting go, and Conquering Life’s Hardest Climbs, as well as the founder and CEO of Send Bars, a female owned and operated superfood nutrition bar company based out of Boulder, CO.
