My music can be found at https://www.solidrockbluesband.com/ How to record audio using a computer? I use an Acer Aspire Intel Core i5-9400 with an SSD hard disk, Behringer UMC404HD audio interface, Linux Mint as operating system and Harrison Mixbus5 as well as Ardour 6. This setup, including a decent condenser microphone for vocals will cost less than €1,000.00. You can build a cheaper setup using an old computer or laptop. I prefer a computer that is not used for other tasks, so a dedicated machine for recording (and video-editing). In this Home recording session (demo) using Harrison Mixbus5, Linux Mint and an Acer Aspire Intel Core i5-9400 computer I show how I record at home. The Acer Aspire i5 has replaced the old Intel-based DIY computer running on an i3 dual core CPU and Harrison Mixbus is performing extremely well on the new Acer Aspire! For an unboxing, review and testvideo of this computer, in Dutch, please see this video: • Unboxing, Review en test: Acer Aspire...
