In an interview with ABC, Officer Darren Wilson said he saw Michael Brown and Dorian Johnson walking along the double-yellow line on Canfield Drive. He asked the pair to walk on the sidewalk instead. Wilson said Johnson ignored him and Brown walked towards his vehicle and swore at him. At that moment, Wilson noticed Brown had cigarillos in his hand. Believing Brown had been involved in a recent theft, he radioed for support. Wilson said he tried to get out of the vehicle, but Brown slammed the door.
