Hello my friends, and welcome to my Winter 2025 Newsletter! 👀 - Read the Newsletter Here! https://bit.ly/lisette-2025-spring-ne... Hello my friends, and welcome to our Spring 2025 Newsletter! I’m very happy to be able to report to you from Tokyo, Japan in our video. We got here just in time to see the beautiful cherry blossoms in bloom all around the city, and have been exploring and feeling really blessed. I’m here for 2 concerts, April 10th and 13th at Suntory Hall, with the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, led by Maestro Corrado Rovaris. Each concert features arias of bel canto, Mozart, and French repertoire. Next up, I’ll be heading to Versailles, France for a single concert of Alcina with Les Épopées, led by Maestro Stéphane Fuget. This performance will be on April 29th. Finally on June 29th I’ll be singing a concert in Baden-Baden with Maestro Yannick Nézet-Séguin and his Orchestre Métropolitain de Montreal. This concert will also feature French, Mozart, and Verdi repertoire. I’m looking forward to returning there as well! A little heads up on the summer, too: I’ll be singing 2 performances of I masnadieri in Munich with the Bayerische Staatsoper on July 17th and 20th. → REFLECTIONS I had a very challenging fall and winter season that left me in need of a big vacation, and I did take one. But I still feel like getting back into working order this spring has had its challenges for me, with jet lag, allergies, and of course, who can turn off the news? With all the very scary things that are going on in the world right now, sometimes it can feel like the arts are just not that important, at the end of the day. And we singers are human beings, and carry all of these anxieties with us, and they go right into our voices. I wish I could just program my body sometimes to perform exactly when I want it to and how I want it to, but alas, it’s not a coffee maker. Rest is not the only thing that’s necessary sometimes, it’s also important to be in a good head space. I want to bring my focus into what actions I can take, what responsibilities I can take hold of, and what I can/need to let go of. It’s the only way to move forward. Spring is such a beautiful time of year, and I want so much to be ever present for it, in every way. ------------------------ 🎭 Concert April 10, 13 Suntory Hall Tokyo, Minato-ku 🎭 Alcina April 29 Opéra Royal du Château de Versailles Versailles, FR 🎭 Gala in the park June 29 Festspielhaus Baden Baden Baden-Baden, GE 🎭 I Masnadieri July 17, 20 Bayerische Staatsoper München, DE ------------ LATEST CD ------------ 💃💃 Mis amores son las flores - Zarzuela Arias 💿 Buy Here! https://warnermusicspain.lnk.to/Misam... ------ 🎧 Listen on iTunes! / mis-amores-son-las-flores-zarzuela-arias ------ 🎧 Listen on Spotify! https://open.spotify.com/album/4Wf1tl... ➠ FOLLOW ME ☟ Website → https://lisetteoropesa.com Instagram → / lisetteoropesa Facebook → / lisetteoropesa Threads → https://www.threads.net/@lisetteoropesa Twitter → / lisette_oropesa BlueSky →https://bsky.app/profile/lisetteorope...
