Another Piece of Meat - Scorpions - Drum Cover by Keith B.

This is mainly for family and friends, but anyone is welcome to view. This is arguably my favorite Scorpions song, and I became inspired to cover it after watching Michael Schenker perform it on his newly released "Temple of Rock" live concert Blu Ray. The band playing with Schenker included drummer Herman Rarebell, who was with Scorpions during their glory years (which he doesn't mind reminding us of over and over again in his autobiography). Rarebell is hardly one of rock's great drummers, but he is very good - always in the pocket, and never afraid to just keep a keep a good, solid beat. Plus he also throws in some really cool bits here and there. "Another Piece of Meat" is a good "drum song" since the drums play a big part during the verse, and I always thought the heavy, deliberate fills Rarebell played (after each verse, that lead into the chorus) were excellent. Just a fun one, that I pulled together pretty quickly.
