New Epstein photos show Trump, Clinton and other powerful figures

Newly released photos tied to the estate of Jeffrey Epstein are drawing fresh scrutiny of the powerful figures who once moved in his orbit. Democrats on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee released a new batch of images showing Presidents Donald Trump and Bill Clinton, along with other high-profile figures including Bill Gates, Prince Andrew, Steve Bannon, Richard Branson and filmmaker Woody Allen. The photos show Trump with several women whose faces are blacked out, as well as a separate image with Epstein. Clinton appears in images with Epstein and his longtime associate Ghislaine Maxwell. Both Trump and Clinton have acknowledged past social ties to Epstein but have said they were unaware of his criminal behavior and later distanced themselves from him. Rep. Robert Garcia of California, the committee’s ranking Democrat, said the panel has received more than 95,000 photos and plans to release additional images in the coming days and weeks. Garcia accused the White House and the Justice Department of withholding information and called for the full release of Epstein-related files. The images do not provide context or prove that any of the individuals pictured knew about Epstein’s alleged crimes. Epstein died by suicide in a New York jail in 2019 while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges. A law passed by Congress in November requires the Justice Department to release all Epstein-related records by Dec. 19.
