Among the preserved railways returning to service, the Mid-Hants Railway in Hampshire has also reopened to passengers, fronting steam locomotives for their services. The line operated a revised version of its Standard Travel two train timetable, with a total of four return trips being made throughout the day; two from Alton, two from Alresford. In order to lengthen the timetable, and offer the travelling public more for their ticket price, the return services did not run direct to each end of the line. Services starting at Alresford, hauled by 41312, ran: Alresford - Alton - Ropley - Medstead and Four Marks - Alresford. While services starting at Alton, hauled by 76017, ran: Alton - Alresford - Ropley - Alresford - Alton. Locomotives: BR(M) Class 2MT Tank - 41312 BR Standard Class 4MT - 76017 All footage filmed on Sunday the 12th of July 2020
