Cornell Custom 80 Amplifier Demo (Clapton Amp)

This is the Cornell Custom 80 Amplifier. This is the amplifier that Clapton used for many years on stage and in studio. Fender have since released a 2x12 Twinolux amplifier but this is prior to that amp. This amp is class A/B and can be run at either 80 watts at full power or 20 watts by a flick of a switch. There's no Tremolo, there's no Reverb, and there's no mid control either. The Cornell Custom 80 is very, very simple in design. The amps control panel is very simple - Bass, Treble, and Volume. It features two Tone Tubby speakers which give the amp a bit of a upper mids voicing. A big thanks to Wayne for letting me demo this as well as being part of the video.
