My AirHawk R Cruiser Pad on the M70: http://www.dpbolvw.net/click-8919205-... I decided to spray both the sidecar tubs for the 2008 Tourist and 2010 Patrol at the same time. We put bedliner on the bottom to act as undercoating and also sprayed the inside to help protect it and provide a better gripping surface for Benny my Siberian Husky when he goes riding. For the 2010 Patrol we did the entire inside of the tub, all the way up and over the lips. The paint was in pretty bad shape so it made sense to just coat it all. For the 2008 Tourist, on the inside we only did the floor. This helps Benny hold on. Application was fairly simple using the kit. Sand with 80 grit, clean, prime bare metal, spray adhesion promoter in hard to sand places (for me pretty much everywhere) and then use the gun that came with the kit at about 50 psi to spray on the bedliner. The bedliner material itself is in 2 parts. Add 250ml of activator to the bottle, shake, boogie and rock and roll for a few minutes then attach it to the gun and spray, it was that easy. Now that I've done this I would say my only mistake was making the coats too light. I should have applied the material a bit thicker. However, I was repeatedly "warned" not to apply it too thick as it could bubble and peal off if I did. So I went a little too thin. Besides that it was very difficult in such a small enclosed space as the sidecar to get the coats even. But, it did good and is holding up well so far.
