However, the region itself, including Shigar Valley, holds historical significance due to its position along ancient trade routes that connected Central Asia with South Asia and beyond. ★ Altitude: 3200m average. ★ Total Distance : 20 km/ from Shigar. ★ Time : 1 hour to Blind lake. ★ Season to visit : The spring season starts from April and ends by June. From July to September, there is summer season and autumn arrives in October. From November to March, it is winter time and during this period there is huge snowfall.
