From the very earliest moments of conceiving 'Live at Casa del Funk' I hoped we'd be able to get him to come and treat us to the mastery of his artistry. A musician that touches my heart every time I hear him play. Chris Nickolls was the immediate obvious choice for drums on this session. His ability to play the dynamics of a room as much as his kit is second to none. Nick Pini was unknown to me but, I'm very keen to repeat the experience of playing with him again as soon as. All in all the makings of another happy CDF day!
