Nuan Sonar, who is sometimes referred to as Lucas, is a fellow glitch.cool collaborator, digital musician, purveyor of groove, appreciator of bops, and generally a swell dude and friend of mine. His new two-track EP "Nu Horizon" is out on our glitch.cool imprint, and it's a banger of a release. In a Man From Sol YouTube channel historical first, I recorded a video chat we did wherein we break down his track "If I Was" off of New Horizon in Ableton Live, which is also new to this channel. Lucas gives us the scoop on how he gets such slapping drums and tight grooves, and how he ties it together with fun synths and crunchy sound design.
