My last colourful cruise, a towpath walk, and what is it that I love about living on the canal in the cold winter months? Includes some revealing mindful talk about how my life has changed since living this alternative lifestyle, and how grateful I have become. Beautiful scenes of nature, wildlife and tranquillity along one of Britain's most beautiful canals. The Journey started here... I once lived in the fast lane of life, happily married of 26 years, with two children. That chapter was suddenly shattered by the sudden loss of my wife to cancer, which led me in to depression and homelessness. Waking up in hospital, after attempting to take my own life, with just a suitcase, kayak and bicycle and no money, I've managed to rise up out of the darkness and find happiness and continue my next chapter. I'm a self taught film maker, and creating these vlogs, it gives me something to do, share my personal experiences as I continue my journey cruising and living life on the canal.
