Please visit http://www.aurora-clinics.co.uk/breas... for more information on nipple reduction surgery. Mr Adrian Richards brings us another video response to a frequently asked question, for the latest instalment in our nipple reduction series. A nipple reduction procedure is a relatively small procedure so you will be able to get back to your regular routine reasonably quickly. You can do minor things within the first week, although it is advised to avoid raising your blood pressure during this period as it can cause more bruising and swelling. During the second and third weeks you should gradually increase the amount of exercise you do. After around 3 weeks you will know how well you are healing, and what does and doesn't cause you pain, so we feel using some common sense you will be fit enough to return to your regular physical activities, or very close to your regular regime. Overall we feel that after one month you should be definitely back to your regular routine and activities. If you are still in discomfort at this point in your recovery we advise you come back to see us for a free follow up consultation so we can check everything alright.
