After spending several meaningful days at Jangchup Jong Monastery, I had the rare opportunity to witness and take part in the preparations for the sacred Bharchok (Mamo) puja dedicated to the great Dharma protector Palden Lhamo. Most of our time was spent shaping tormas and preparing ritual offerings alongside the monks. In between the work, I quietly walked around the monastery, absorbing the peaceful atmosphere and reflecting on the deep spiritual traditions preserved here. Bharchok and Mamo practices are performed to clear obstacles, restore balance, and invoke the fierce compassionate protection of Palden Lhamo for the Dharma and all sentient beings. This video is my small attempt to share those moments, the blessings, and the powerful energy of the practice.
