I just hit 1000 subscribers today, right before uploading this video! Cool !! Finally!! It took like 7 years and 4 months xD One day later than i expected, but it's finally here! As promised the guitar cover of the Borderless music from Yamato EQ. Enjoy! ^^ There's like 3-4 mistakes in each performance, but they're really not critical in any way, so i left them :p I really enjoyed learning the lead part, i even added lead parts that weren't initially in the music, basically playing lead along the singing during the 2 choruses in 2nd and 3rd part hehe! Trying split screen with Davinci Resolve to put 2 performance in 1 video, but my PC is too weak for realtime playback so it takes more time than it should lol. Full screen recommended if you want to see my playing more clearly, and pick which one you want to focus on :p Also, bothered to try some new type of thumbnail, wanted to actually put myself, but didn't have a proper quality pic of me with the guitar, so you'll just have the guitar on top of the picture i used for the original music upload for now lol :p !! Simplistic, but it makes it clear it's a guitar cover while being less bland than a pic from the video xD Something about the rhythm guitar : it was extremely difficult to decipher it properly, even worse than on Vol dragon, due to it being masked by either the lead or the singing. So while i got most of it right, made sure the picking pattern was the right one at least, i also consider what i play an adaptation to something that works well with the music, but not 100% sure i had all notes right, particularly between 3:35 and 4:30 i'm really not sure it's exactly like that, but it definitly sounded like it was, oof! Rhythm performance is at upper right, Lead performance is at left bottom, but i think the start of the video makes it clear lol. Now, sound quality wise, i mostly made sure of 2 things : first, there's no clipping anywhere, second, that you could hear my 2 performance witout them being too dry/sterile, but with the original music in background, it ended up having the lead being quite upfront. Tech (Nerdy) infos : Camera used is Zoom Q2N, but audio was recorded separately via Focusrite 2i2, guitar is BC Rich Draco Onyx. Tuning is D Standard on rhythm guitar, C# on lead guitar BUT it should also be D standard, it's just since i wasn't using open notes i didn't bother to put the capo on 1st fret to make it D standard lol...
