Dekalb Memorial Disc Golf Course is located at 381 Wilkinson Dr SE in Atlanta, Georgia. It is a 4,824 Ft. par 54. There is a hole rise of 50 Ft. and a decline of 110 Ft. There are a few open holes but most have trees to contend with. There are some tees/baskets that are very close to each other so be careful from the tee box. Hole 6 and 7 parallel major interstate so make sure you are throwing something that will finish right. Watch out for park residents. Discraft Raptor: 9/4/0/3 Course Breakdown: 1. Amenities-8.5, The major downside was the bathrooms are closed for the winter. Most the holes have benches. 2. Parking-7, There are some parking spots but not a ton so weekends might be tough. The parking lot is starting to develop some potholes so don't come in fast. 3. People-7, One the weekends it probably gets used a lot, but the park guests don't really interfere with the course. There are some park residents, one was just off to the left side of 13, so be careful. 4. Shot Variety-10, A good mix of holes for every type of thrower. Probably one of the more left-hand friendly courses I have played. 5. Teepad-8.7, Concrete teepads, however some of them are starting to develop slick spots near the front. There were some teepads that if you fall off the front, you are going doing a hill. 6. Line-10, shouldn't have any problems knowing where to throw. 7. Scenery-5.1, basic wooded golf scenery. 8. Trash-9.3, Definitely some spots that could use some cleaning up. 9. Terrain-5.5, There are some spots that have steep inclines/declines so you will have to be careful. Sometimes walking between the holes is worse than the holes themselves. 10. Cart Friendly-5.9, There are some spots where you will have to pick up your cart and struggle to get it around. There are some steps you will have to contend with. 11. Openess-6.3, There are some very tight gaps on some of the holes and there are some very wide open holes. 12. Rough-6.5, There is a lot of high rough, just trees. There are some areas that are on hillsides so if your disc rolls away, you will have 1 or 2 shots to get it back on track. 13. Baskets-10, All baskets are in good condition. 14. Navigation-7.0, There are some spots you will need Udisc to find the next hole. Definitely could use some signage around the course. 2 to 3 and 4 to 5 are great examples. 15. Layout-5.3, A lot of holes are close or parallel other holes. There are 2 holes that are right next to a side street and 2 holes that parallel the interstate. While it would be very difficult to hit the interstate...it is possible. Overall: 7.5
