Dr. Jam’s colleague Lacey Rose meets up with Mathieu Leblanc of ACFOR to learn about restoration of the Acadian Forest. The Acadian Forest, which is considered endangered, is found in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and New England and requires a very different stewardship approach than Boreal forests, the most common forest type in Canada. The people who love the forest the most are typically the people who spend their days in the forest and make a living in forest management and operations. Lacey and Mathieu are two of those people.
