Hunting Unique Chanthaburi Foods In Crazy Market Streets 🇹🇭

Today in Chanthaburi Thailand we set out on a hunt to find some specialty foods that you can only find here 🇹🇭 First we met a lovely auntie who was making a mystery snack which we couldn't not purchase she was amazing. Straight after we found a noodle shop selling pork liang noodle which is a Chanthaburi specialty and it was extremely delicious, the broth is sweetened with pineapple and spices, one of my all time favourite noodle soups for sure and only 40 THB. We then tried aunties mystery snacks which were delicious but I have no idea what they are so please help us with that! While walking around Chanthaburi Town we met an amazing subscriber who had the most beautiful corgis! We really appreciate you all so if you see us definitely say hello we love to chat! We wander through the market streets at daytime to show you how the place changes after sunset and gets crazy! Got lucky and found a dish we were after! We bought a huge portion of chanthaburis special sen Chan pu for 70 THB, the lady's selling it were again lovely as always with Thai Street sellers. On the way back to the hotel we met yet another lovely Thai local who we keep bumping into! Oh and on the way back we accidentally found a curry and rice shop selling the special chanthaburi pork and chamuang leaf curry for only 25 THB how could we say no to that! We got back to the hotel and tried the sen Chan pu on the riverfront terrace which was so tasty, the soft shell crabs were incredibly good I really recommend this dish if you see it. Night time comes so we headed into the fountain Market area which seems to be a legendary spot here in Chanthaburi city, this place is seriously hectic especially at rush hour after work, we had the most delicious dry yen ta fo noodle dish for again only 40 THB. Its crazy that tourists do not eat street food here in Thailand they have no idea. To finish the night off we carried on walking through the crazy busy scooter filled market streets before having a few sweet snacks of toasted buns and my all time favourite thai Street food snack of khanom krok.
