Sheet Music: https://musescore.com/user/55307805/s... About the march and composer: The march Arnhem is a march composed by A.E. Kelly in 1956. Written in slow march style, it features a solemn tempo, warm harmonies, and lyrical melodic lines. The music is not triumphant, but dignified and reflective — more a tribute than a celebration. Frequently performed at memorial services, the march is beloved in the brass band world for its restraint, emotional depth, and musical craftsmanship. The composer Albert Edward Kelly (1914–1994) was a British composer and military bandmaster. During World War II, he served with the 4th/7th Royal Dragoon Guards. He landed in Normandy near Arromanches-les-Bains in June 1944 and was wounded shortly after. A few months later, his regiment suffered heavy losses during the Battle of Arnhem. These experiences gave his marches a deeply personal and commemorative character. Kelly’s works focus on ceremony, remembrance, and quiet honour. Jaap Klijnstra 19 07 2025
