It's not a GREAT laptop, but if you can get it at $350 this is a fine starter laptop, or for someone who needs something light and cheap. It's built fairly well, the plastics could take a beating, but usability leaves some things to be desired. It's fast enough to get general productivity tasks knocked out, but it's not going to be for those looking to edit video, audio, or game. The trackpad is finicky and unpleasant to use, and the keyboard has bad type face and weird shapes making it unpleasurable to use. The screen is OK for an entry level 14.1" machine, and while it's not touch, it is FHD (Full High Definition) and offers fine enough color and brightness. Would I recommend it? Only if you had to have a 14.1" light and thin machine and couldn't spend more than $350. With those parameteres in mind, it's "good enough".
