9 Months With My Toy Cavapoo Puppy 🥹🐶

Nine months of my phone storage being almost completely taken over by photos of the doggo 🙈🥹 Recent Ruby highlights (and lowlights) include… Her weird obsession with wheelchairs only getting stronger Having to focus extra hard on my wheelchair demo day while she howled her head off because she wanted to come on the test drive too Trying to fit her for an Equafleece which to date she’s still absolutely furious about The fact she has been trained to come and fetch me out of bed if I’m needed downstairs at home The not so cute fact that any time she jumps on my bed she, for unfathomable reasons, only ever aims for my head A 1am trip to the emergency vets because she takes after me and is allergic/intolerant to everything ever That she still wants and needs a two-hour cuddle in the morning which I pretend is an inconvenience but secretly it’s the best thing ever Seeing her turn around and come running towards you with the biggest, toothiest smile on her face Her genuine stress if she’s in the car and sees another person passing by out of the window - will gratefully accept any advice on this from anyone who’s experienced it The fact that even as she’s got older she still absolutely loses her mind with excitement when she sees you for the first time in a while Having an abundance of lovely toys to play with but always, always choosing an odd piece of ribbon (or the drawstring of my favourite trousers) over any of them The number of times she’s been bizarrely mistaken for a service dog when I happen to be using mobility aids Me finding out what Pizzle sticks actually are and just really, really wishing I hadn’t Teaching her to dance and the fact she now stages a performance several times a day whether she’s asked to or not Her unconditional, unwavering love and pure joy when she spends time with her favourite people In short, I am tired but she is an angel. That is all. Nine months old and an absolute oddball, but the most special oddball I could ever wish for 🥹💜
