Over a year ago I archived a small horror game called The Stalked which took its inspiration from other horror game series like Fears to Fathom. I adore Fears to Fathom and am always down for more games with that same style. I was notified by a friendly viewer that it actually had a sequel and thus I archive this one today. The Stalked 2 tells the story of a young woman who goes on a small trip to a cabin in the woods. During her travels we meet with several weird figures and strange things start to happen all around us. I thought the vibe and atmosphere in this game were really good. I liked the house where the game started at and I also liked that the area was so open on the way to the cabin. There is a lot of detail in how all the enviroments are presented which adds to the atmosphere. Some of the jumpscares are a little cheap, but they were effective. Probably what could be done better in a third part (which has already been announced) are the animations. The characters lack any animation and thus there are moments where it feels very awkward like the woman sitting on the bench. Having them move only slightly would already make a huge difference.
