The Dales Way runs for 82 miles from Ilkley in West Yorkshire to Bowness-on-Windermere in Cumbria, following mostly riverside paths and passing through the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and the gentle foothills of southern Lakeland to the shore of England's grandest lake. I really enjoyed this hike. I haven't done a multidayer for a couple of years due to injury, so I thought I'd ease my self back into the game with this one. It was a lot harder than I imagined, especially with the horrendous weather on day i & iii. Massive shout out to my friends David and Andrea for putting me up for the night on day iii 🙏 Hope you enjoy. 😎
