@ The ultimate off-road adventure expedition "THE 7th SARAWAK INTERNATIONAL 4x4 JAMBOREE 2024" EDITION WARRIORS TRAILS – THE JOURNEY BETONG-LUBOK ANTU Sakta Sarawak 4x4 Travel & Adventure Club by Mr. Jirram Gima, the club president, organized a 4x4 off-road adventure expedition, "The 7th Sarawak International 4x4 Jamboree 2024”. Edition Warriors Trails - Adventure Journey Betong-Lubok Antu during September 14th-20th, 2024. At Kuching - Betong - Lubok - Antu, Sarawak, Borneo, Malaysia. It was an expedition travel for the purpose of nature tourism and promoting the local culture and traditions of Sarawak people. The first off-road adventure tour was organized in 2016, but the tour was canceled for two years during the COVID-19 pandemic and was re-organized in 2021. This year was the 7th off-road 4x4 adventure tour with off-road adventurers from 7 countries: Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, Hong Kong, Singapore, Hong Kong and Thailand. There were 220 off-road 4x4 vehicles and 450 participants. It was supported by Tourism Malaysia Sarawak, main sponsors from Pedders, Adnoc, ARB, Lambretta, Kawasaki, Jaecoo electric cars. This route was a route in the area of the sacred place of the Iban people many of whom sacrificed their lives to ensure that the land was free from oppression by the invading enemies. The purpose of this tour was to honor the ancestors of the original Iban tribe and remember them. The area consisted of many hills and valleys with long houses, pristine rivers and streams. It was a wonderful area with beautiful nature. It covers a total distance of 270 kilometers divided into 2 routes: Hardcore route and normal route both were exciting off-road routes. And there were many camping spots for off-road adventurers who love passion 4×4 off-road camping. -Day 3, September 17th - Around 09.30 hrs., Group A-Extreme departs on the Jambu / Mujau Kerangggas – Spaya route, Group B-Adventure departs on the Stamang – Ulu Lemanak route, Group C-Glamping departs on the NG. Majau Ulu Layer Spark route. Group A Extreme 68 cars were divided into three groups: Group A, Group B, and Group C. They traveled in groups in order. The route was a very difficult off-road forest road with long steep climbs and descents in many places, all cars driving on the tops of high mountains. On both sides of the road were deep ravines very dangerous if you anyone made a mistake. Most of the forest roads were dry at this time but some parts were still muddy and slippery. There were alternating potholes from water erosion. The road wass narrow and winding. There were ribbons strung on the right edge of the ravine to warn of danger from being too close to the edge of the ravine at many points. Today, some cars have broken axles. Some cars have overheated engines that have to be stopped for repairs. Group A's cars with broken axles were able to use the area of Ban Yao Long House in the middle of the deep forest on a high mountain. Everyone was impressed by the Iban villagers who warmly welcomed the off-roaders in theirs areas. They provided them with food, alcohol, and kindness. They also sang and danced together happily. This is a traditional welcome of the Iban people that has been preserved and continued to this day. For Group B Adventure and Group C Glamping, a route that was not difficult to travel but still had fun and excitement with an off-road adventure route. Every group must camp overnight feel the coolness and look at the stars in the deep forest. การเดินทางวันที่สาม วันที่ 17 ก.ย.- เวลาประมาณ 09.30 น. กลุ่มเอ-เอ็กซ์ทรีม ออกเดินทางไปเส้นทางแจมบู / มาเจา เคอรังกาส - สปายา( Jambu / Mujau Kerangggas – Spaya) กลุ่ม บี-แอดเวนเจอร์ ออกเดินทางไปเส้นทางสเตมัง - อูลู เลอมานัก (Stamang – Ulu Lemanak) กลุ่ม ซี-แกลมปิ้งออกเดินทางไปเส้นทาง เอ็นจีมาเจา, อูลูเลเยอร์ สปาร์ค(NG. Majau Ulu Layer Spark) กลุ่มเอ เอ็กซ์ทรีม รถยนต์ 68 คัน จะแบ่งออกเป็นสามกลุ่มได้แก่ กลุ่มเอ กลุ่มบี กลุ่มซี ทั้งออกเดินทางเป็นกลุ่มเรียงกันตามลำดับกลุ่ม เส้นทางเป็นทางป่าออฟโรดยากโหดสุดจากทางชึ้นลงชันยาวมาก หลายแห่งรถยนต์วิ่งบนยอดสันภูเขาสูงยาว สองข้างทางเป็นหุบเหวผาลึกอันตรายมากหากพลาดลงไป ส่วนใหญ่ถนนป่าจะแห้งในช่วงเวลานี้ แต่บางส่วนยังมีโคลนเละลื่นบ้าง และมีร่องบังคับหลุมสลับจากน้ำเซาะ ทางแคบคดโค้งมากมาย ซึ่งจะมีเชือกริ้บบิ้นขึงขวาขอบเหวเตือนอันตรายจากการชิดขอบเหวหลายจุด วันนี้มีรถยนต์บางคันเพลาแตกกระจาย บางคันเครื่องยนต์โอเวอร์ฮีดร้อนจัดต้องหยุดเป็นระยะเพื่อแก้ไขซ่อมแซม และรถยนต์ของกลุ่มเอที่เพลาแตกพังได้เข้าใช้พื้นที่บ้านยาวลองเฮ้าส์กลางป่าลึกบนภูเขาสูง และทุกคนต่างมีความประทับใจชาวบ้านชนเผ่าอิบัน ที่ต้อนรับขับสู้ชาวออฟโรดต่างถิ่นอย่างอบอุ่นยอดเยี่ยมเลี้ยงดูข้าวปลาอาหาร สุราน้ำใจ และยังร้องรำทำเพลงด้วยกันอย่างสนุกสนาน เป็นขนบธรรมเนียมประเพณีต้อนรับของชนเผ่าอิบันที่ยังอนุรักษ์รักษาเอาใว้ยังคงสืบทอดกันมาจริงถึงเวลานี้ สำหรับกลุ่มบี เอ็ดเวนเจอร์และกลุ่มซี แกลมปิ้ง เส้นทางที่เดินทางไปไม่ยาก แต่ก็ยังได้รับความสนุกเร้าใจกับเส้นทางแบบออฟโรดผจญภัย ทุกกลุ่มต้องตั้งแคมป์ค้างแรมสัมผัสความเย็นมองดูแสงดาวในป่าลึก
