Piano cover/performance of song 'Koibumi' (Shizuru's Theme) from Rewrite arranged by Animenz. Impending assignments didn't stop me from uploading this one. A different type of video this time. Since this isn't my own arrangement I decided to video record myself playing it on my digital piano. Please excuse the terrible video quality though, I should have video recorded it during the day with a better light source, and a better camera. In any case, Koibumi is an incredibly beautiful song. I've only seen the first season of Rewrite and have played only a couple hours of the Visual Novel a couple years ago (which I intend to continue eventually), but this song has stuck with me ever since; from the memorable melody to Yanagi Nagi's soothing vocals. This is the first and only Animenz piano arrangement I am currently able to play. As a self-taught pianist, it feels so so good to be able to play it in full (even though it's his easiest arrangement). Years of self-teaching paying off.
