2013 honda rancher 420 bad stator replacment. Just hope it helps somone. A couple things to be aware of that I missed in the video. On the case one of the dowels has an o ring on it. This is a oil line. Make sure you replace that o ring and don't get any silicone in the oil port. The other thing to watch for. On the gear selection shaft (the one with the roll pin stuck sideways in it) make sure you turn that to the neutral position. It had a N in the cast iron and a N on the plastic connected to the sensor. The sensor I am talking about is the internal sensor for the gear range. Not the angle sensor. The angle sensor is on the bottom back side, on the outside of the case. The sensor I am talking about is on the inside. Once you have that shaft with the role pin in it lined up to neutral, you need to put the transmission in neutral unless you had it in neutral to begin with. If you didn't, there is a 10mm shaft that comes out of the front of the engine. Turn it counter clockwise a little bit then let go. Just like you would on an manual transmission foot lever. Pull let go pull let go until it is firm. The drive shaft should be loose and you should be in neutral and be lined up for your sensor to go into the slot. Hope this helps. If you need help or if it didn't male sense leave a comment and I'll do my best to get back to you asap.
