Here's an update on the situation: *Flood Relief Efforts*: Governor Lilia "Nanay" Pineda led relief operations, distributing 28,945 family food packs to affected residents. Masantol received 20,418 food packs, while Macabebe got 8,527. Each pack contains six kilograms of rice, canned goods, coffee, and cereal drink. *State of Calamity*: Masantol has been placed under a state of calamity due to severe economic, social, and environmental impacts. This allows the municipal government to access 30% of its Quick Response Fund. *Flood Control Efforts*: Governor Dennis "Delta" Pineda has vowed to strengthen flood control measures in Masantol and Macabebe. The Integrated Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation Project (IDRR-CCA) aims to reduce flooding in these areas. *Damage Assessment*: The fisheries sector in Masantol has suffered significant damage, estimated at ₱26,811,648. At least 24,233 families (69,845 individuals) were affected, with 97 families currently housed in 10 evacuation centers. *Relief and Medical Assistance*: The provincial government, led by Governor Pineda, has provided relief and medical assistance to affected residents.
