Well, I've wanted to do this playthrough for a while now, and I'm finally able to do it now that I have a powerful enough PC to run this flawlessly on PCSX2. This will be the first of many videos where I play Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance on PS2 with all characters on the hardest possibly difficulty setting, Max. This game came out in 2002 on the PS2, Xbox, GameCube, and two versions on Gameboy Advance were also released. For this series, I'll be playing the PS2 version, via the PCSX2 Emulator on PC. This game is different from MK Trilogy from the fact that this game is entirely in 3D and the fighting mechanics have changed significantly. Each character now gets 3 different fighting styles with different attacks and combo strings, and one of those fighting styles (with the exception of 2 characters) is a weapon which does more damage, but leaves you more vulnerable if you're taking damage. They each have their own special moves as well but the only flaw in this is that the characters only have one Fatality each, which is kinda lame. There's also a Konquest mode which is basically an extensive tutorial on how to play as all the characters, as well as a Krypt where you can spend the coins you earn on various unlockables such as new stages, new characters and even alternate costumes for the characters, which is pretty cool. The first character I will be playing as is Scorpion. He's as awesome as he was before, and while some of his moves such the teleport are gone, he has access to a flame kick and flames from the ground. His spear is back though it's much harder to use here. The combo department is where he truly shines, though, especially with his Hapkido and Ninja Sword fighting styles. Those styles can deal out some massive damage. His Ninja Sword also has a sidestep swing if you press the R1 button, which will be different for each character and different for each of their 3 fighting styles. He has a really sick Fatality as well. I won't say much about the run as I did in my Trilogy series, as I think it's best to let the video do all the talking. So, I hope you guys enjoy the first of many videos for Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance! #mortalkombatdeadlyalliance #mkda #scorpion
