Wink It Goodbye! As far as I'm concerned, this is one of the worst moves I have seen in the smart home business since...well, actually I think this might be the worst. Wink has given the people who purchased their products 1 week to join a $5/month subscription plan or else their smart homes will essentially be turned off. All this to support their private smart home. The problem is that SmartThings and Hubitat are both amazing #replacements for #Wink and their now #subscription based system, and there is even a great guide to convert to SmartThings that has been put together. For now, SmartThings is my recommendation unless you're really heavy into local execution and privacy control. Then, go ahead and get Hubitat.
