Little Juniata River fishing trip May 25'

The sky's were dark and we knew rain was on its way but we wanted the experience regardless. We launched in the afternoon and an hour later the weather hit us. This section of the river had a few bigger rapids. It was a little challenging to navigate because of the large amount of gear we had on us. We were searching for a spot to camp when Keith got spun around and the raft he was towing got punctured by a sharp rock. The raft began to sink rapidly with alot of our gear on it. Thankfully we were able to get to shore before disaster. We found a spot to camp and set up our camp before the rain started again. We had a nice fire going all night but unfortunately the rain got heavier and heavier forcing us to take cover under a tarp fort. We woke up to a swollen river that went up 8+ inches over night. The water was no longer good for fishing and was a little dangerous so we had to bail and drive up north to our family cabin to find new fishing spots. Song credits - Gregory Alan Isakov - San Luis
