‘To Di For’ podcast host Kinsey Schofield discusses how author JK Rowling plans to “totally eradicate” members of the original Harry Potter films from the success of the franchise. HBO has announced plans to develop a television series based on the books, which is set to have a 2027 premiere. “She’s going to executive produce JK, and HBO is saying she’s very, very involved in this project and she is there to ensure that it is faithful to her books,” Ms Schofield said. “She has said that the original cast could apologise, she doesn’t think she has it in her to forgive them because they’ve just been so vile. “The words used when it comes to this new project is totally eradicate and expunge these actors from the origin of its success.”
