Relieving our Tourmalet ride in 2015, this video features details of our cycling in France and climbing the famous legendary route of Tour de France. The ride will start to roll at Sainte Mare de Campan. This is my first climb in the French soil with my son in law who is my cycling buddy on this video. It was a great experience and I can say that climbing the Tourmalet is really a "Ride of a Lifetime" because tour legends conquer its summit. The sceneries will give you a great feeling as a cyclist. The Col du Tourmalet is written in the history of Tour de France, first used in 1910. The first cyclist to conquer this famous climb was Octave Lapize with his single-speed bike. More than any other mountain, the Tourmalet is regularly part of the stages of the biggest cycling event in the world.
