Bypassing amplifier using Metra 70-1761 Radio Wiring Harness solved all the issues related to audio quality. I am not showing the sections that are already covered in part1 (how to remove old radio and wiring color codes etc.). Focus of this part is on bypassing the amplifier. On doing some more research i figured that subwoofer (Green Red/Green black wires) should be connected to Rear Right speaker wires (Violet/Violet Black) and not the presub out as I did. This implies rear right speaker and sub both get powered by same wires. Part 1 video link is : • 1997 Lexus es300 stereo replacement with a... You may not be able to hear the sound of the song being played at end because of the copyright issue, voice has been removed. However voice is fantastic. Disclaimer - I am not a professional and just sharing what worked well for me. Anyone following this video shall do at own risk.
