This year, Christ Gospel Church members had an opportunity to submit Bible questions to Rev. B. R. Hicks via the church's Facebook page. We will be releasing Rev. Hicks' answers to these questions over the coming weeks and months. This first question comes from Ian in Jeffersonville, Indiana. It was subsequently voted on by CGC Facebook users as the question they most wanted to have answered first. Ian asks: Exodus 35:5 gives a command to "Take ye from among you an offering unto the LORD: whosoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it..." Willingness of heart is also referenced in verses 21, 22, 26, and 29. How does one maintain a "willing heart"? It seems that I, like the children of Israel, struggle in maintaining a willing heart.
