Being in a majority Muslim country, we celebrate different holidays here than are commonly known in the US or other western countries. One of them is Tabaski, also known by its Arabic name, Eid a-Adha or the holiday of the sacrifice. I'm celebrating in another friends site, and we ask some of the village officials to explain it to us. What sort of differences can you tell between this story and the other version you might know? I’m an education volunteer with Peace Corps Guinea who’s interested in using media to tell people’s stories. Part of my job as a volunteer includes addressing Peace Corps’ third goal, which involves educating others about Guineans. I also want to help you learn what life is like as a Peace Corps volunteer and living in a small Guinean village! If you enjoyed the video, definitely subscribe and hit the bell so you get notified about my future videos.
