In the following Tech Talk, we build the JAMECO 20626 Adjustable Dual Power Supply kit. The lecture walks you through purchasing the kit from Jameco Electronics then the plan is to build each significant section of the power supply and analyze that section before preceding to the next. For example: We discuss how the circuitry alters the 120 VAC into both Negative and Positive pulsating DC voltages, then we observe the filtering effect of the Bulk capacitance using our oscilloscope. The kit utilizes the LM317T (Positive) and LM337T (Negative) voltage regulators and we will observe their ability to regulate the DC voltage. The regulators are the two voltage regulators that we used in the QUCS spice simulator, in the earlier tutorials, which was very cool to see. The lectures will end at the completion of each major section of the power supply. This is why there are four parts.
