Hindustan Times Executive Editor Shishir Gupta explains why Pakistan has still not responded to India’s 53 page dossier comprising proof of Jaish-e-Mohammed’s involvement in the Pulwama terror attack. India has handed over the body of evidence to not just Pakistan but also to top diplomats of other countries (including permanent members of the United Nations Security Council). As US, UK and France attempt to have JeM’s leader Masood Azhar listed by UNSC as a global terrorist, China has hinted that it may block the move once again. Shishir Gupta feels that Pakistan is dictating China’s decision on UN sanctions on Masood. “Will be shocked if China changes stance on Masood Azhar,” he adds.
