Woodturning-Orange Tree Crotch Bowl

Orange tree with a the limb trunk section I saved for a while. Looking forward to the opportunity to try a bowl, knowing it would have a few see through sections because of the crotch sections. Citrus is very hard wood. Usually with a yellow color. Lemon and Orange are very similar in appearance. I’ve never known any different in the trucks color, however I’ve noticed lemon limbs are thinner and elongated when they leave the trunk. Orange limbs are usually round. As for the turning, it turned out well, it did develop a few stress cracks. Citrus is know for cracking. So far so good. Well thanks for watching and I hope you like the video.
