Full playthrough of Ready or Not (PC version) completed co-operatively with all S-ranks (no enemy kills, no civilians killed, zero SWAT casualties, no unnecessary usage of force). All levels were played with 2-4 real players (varying amounts each mission), and the views of at least 2 players (typically all of them) are shown at all times. All briefings, pre-mission screens, and server settings (just to prove we were, in fact, on hard difficulty) are shown, except for the loadouts used by the players, as we were moving so fast to each level I forgot to record our loadouts (you can get the gist of it from the gameplay). All videos are sped up by 5x speed upon completion of the "Bring order to chaos" objective, as we did not want to cut out grabbing all weapons/evidence completely, but we also know nobody really wants to actually watch that either. The after action screen is shown for proof of the S-rank achievement. Hard difficulty is as brutal as advertised, and enemies can kill you in half a second if you expose yourself for any amount of time at range. Due to this, we felt the need to utilize the tactical shield and the M32A1 grenade launcher (flashbang version, the CS gas was oddly terrible). I apologize for this, as some may consider it to be "cheese", but I am honestly not sure it is possible to do any other way in the current state of the game, at least without the levels taking weeks to months to complete. This video is also viable to be used as a walkthrough guide for these levels, as most enemy positions are somewhat the same with slight variance (sometimes +/- 2-3 enemies per level). Overall, I wish there was no censorship added, and I wish there still weren't so many bugs (guns still fall through the floor, we had at least 2 instances of civilians getting stuck in walls and unable to be secured, maybe more in runs we failed and didn't see), but I personally still think this game is great. No disrespect to Ground Branch and Zero Hour, but Ready or Not feels like the closest thing to Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield and SWAT 4 we have had in 20 years, and I hope it succeeds financially so more studios will try their hand at making real tactical shooters again. I feel like those who complain about the terrorist AI being overpowered never played R6 3 and SWAT 3/4, where it was arguably far worse and way less forgiving, and where getting hit would mean instant death, staying injured in the next level (R6 3), or being locked out of a perfect score (SWAT 4). That being said, I would hope in the big 2025 they could make AI that was, while hard, more fair to the player, and it is unacceptable that you reportedly have to babysit the friendly AI in commander mode so they don't go and get themselves insta-killed (I would not know anything about that, we only play co-op).
