COMMENT: The stage 1 boss theme. I tried to make it feel as weak as possible. I think this song sounds a little Oriental. "as weak as possible", you say··· I mean, yeah, she's not very strong but still harder than the 1st stage boss from the following games. This is the Tank Girl's theme, a girl that's seemingly obsessed with Reimu. She appears again on the extra stage, which I haven't played yet. She's a weird character, 'cos she's a scientist, unlike the other ones in the entire series which are magicians (?). Yeah, that's probably where ZUN had the idea for Rikako Asakura, the scientist from the 3rd game. Although her personality is wildly different··· Also, I've never seen so many tracks from a single game be in the same key··· this one is in F minor, once again. It's a great key, but it's so ubiquitous throughout the game that it gets a little saturated, if that makes sense. Just like how I compose everything in C major or minor··· difference being that ZUN's works are audible :)
